Things feel like they're looking up, even if there isn't anything to look forward to. I'm grateful to be able to be open on Thanksgiving, for our 4th year in a row. I'm sad that we won't be having our 4th annual potluck for us orphans and those avoiding their families, but we'll still have food. We'll have free crockpot turkey and some various munchies courtesy of Roark, Josh, and myself. I'd include Sheila, but she'd rather be eating than sharing (Also, If Sheila growls at you, she's enforcing the 6ft rule, it's nothing personal). I know there are a few of us out there who don't have any family in this state, and sometimes holidays hit people harder, so we do what we can. We have our 4 tables spaced apart (and a couple of heaters) for social-distancing and hand sanitizer at every table. No need to buy anything, we'll just be hanging out in the courtyard :)
I don't want to have to say this, but if you are sick, stay home. If you are around at-risk friends/family, stay home. If you are under 21, stay home. I want to be a non-lethal alcoholic lighthouse in this shit storm, please and thank you.
